         Laxmi Mysore completed her Diploma in Fine Arts from Kuvempu University College of Arts and Crafts, Davangere in 1996 , securing Distinction with First Rank and completed MFA from KSOU, Mysore in 2015. She has to her credit , many Solo Art Exhibitions and Group shows all over India which has won rare reviews from Art Critics and overwhelming response from Art lovers. She has participated in numerous State level and National level Art camps, State Lalitha Kala Academy Art camps and exhibitions.

     My work of art characterizes romanticism, attitude and intellectual orientation, composing precepts of harmony and balance thereby adding values of spontaneity, emotional and transcendental. They house a deep appreciation of the beauty of nature, displaying exaltation of emotion over reason and of the senses over intellect. The colours on my canvas turn in upon the self and provides a heightened examination of human personality and its moods. The lines and forms speak volumes about my fresh view of the world around me as a supremely individual creator, in which my creative spirit is more important than strict adherence to formal rules and traditional procedures paving a way to transcendent experience. My goal is to pass on this soulful experience to one and all.

          ART GALLERY : ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಜಗಲಿಯಲ್ಲೊಂದು ಹೊಸ ಪ್ರಯೋಗ. ಚಿತ್ರಕಲಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಅನೇಕ ಮಜಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇದೂ ಒಂದು. ಚಿತ್ರ ಕಲಾವಿದ ತಾನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಕಲಾಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಜನರಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿಸುವ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮವಾಗಿ ಗ್ಯಾಲರಿಗಳು ಸಹಕರಿಸುತ್ತವೆ. ಪ್ರಪಂಚದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಅನೇಕ ನಗರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿತ್ರಕಲಾ ಗ್ಯಾಲರಿಗಳು ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತವೆ. ಹೆಸರಾಂತ ಚಿತ್ರ ಕಲಾವಿದರ ಕಲಾಕೃತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿ ಮಾರಾಟವಾಗಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸುತ್ತವೆ. 

      ಇಂತಹ ಗ್ಯಾಲರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನೇಕರು ಭೇಟಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇನ್ನು ಕೆಲವರಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ಕೊಡುವಂತ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳು ಲಭ್ಯವಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಭಾಗದ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನವರಿಗೆ ಇಂತಹ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಇರೋದೇ ಗೊತ್ತಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ..... ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಡಿನ ಹೆಸರಾಂತ ಚಿತ್ರ ಕಲಾವಿದರ ಕಲಾಕೃತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಚಿತ್ರಕಲಾ ಪೋಷಕರಿಗೂ ಕಲಾವಿದರಿಗೂ ಸೇತುವೆಯಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಚಿತ್ರಕಲಾ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪೂರ್ತಿ ನೀಡುವ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಜಗಲಿಯಿಂದ.....
