I was a post graduate in Geology, but a Graphic Designer by profession. I started my
career with Artsworkshop, Car Street, Mangalore. It was there I was able to develop
my sculpture and painting skills further.
As an additional activity, I prepared Lord Ganesh and Goddess Sharada statues for
7 consecutive years for Ganesh Chaturdi and Dasara festivals respectively.
Around 25yrs of Graphic design experience. Throughout my career I have always
enjoyed drawing and painting in my spare time and have never stopped exploring
my creativity. My chosen mediums are pencil and acrylic, however I have worked with a wide range
of tools to enhance my skills in oil, enamel and water colours.
My first art exhibition in Dubai was with Artee Group in Timesquare Centre in 2008 and
my 2nd exhibition, organised by The Cartoon Art Gallery, Dubai in 2016. After coming
back to Mangalore I have joined Karavali Chitrakala Chavadi and participated in Art
Camps, Group exhibitions (at Aloysius College, Fisheries College, River Festival etc).
Recently got awarded in Online art contests. Gold and Public award in Countryside Artists.
Group Facebook online contest (June 2020). Bonus Trophy winner in The Great Indian Art
2020 online art contest. Participated in Online Art Camp conducted by Karnataka
Lalitha Kala Academy (October 2020).
I believe in realistic and detailed art. I focus my creativity on nature and use its colours as my palette.

ART GALLERY : ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಜಗಲಿಯಲ್ಲೊಂದು ಹೊಸ ಪ್ರಯೋಗ. ಚಿತ್ರಕಲಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಅನೇಕ ಮಜಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇದೂ ಒಂದು. ಚಿತ್ರ ಕಲಾವಿದ ತಾನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಕಲಾಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಜನರಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿಸುವ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮವಾಗಿ ಗ್ಯಾಲರಿಗಳು ಸಹಕರಿಸುತ್ತವೆ. ಪ್ರಪಂಚದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಅನೇಕ ನಗರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿತ್ರಕಲಾ ಗ್ಯಾಲರಿಗಳು ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ಸುತ್ತವೆ. ಹೆಸರಾಂತ ಚಿತ್ರ ಕಲಾವಿದರ ಕಲಾಕೃತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿ ಮಾರಾಟವಾಗಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸುತ್ತವೆ.
ಇಂತಹ ಗ್ಯಾಲರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನೇಕರು ಭೇಟಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇನ್ನು ಕೆಲವರಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ಕೊಡುವಂತ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳು ಲಭ್ಯವಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಭಾಗದ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನವರಿಗೆ ಇಂತಹ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಇರೋದೇ ಗೊತ್ತಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ..... ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಡಿನ ಹೆಸರಾಂತ ಚಿತ್ರ ಕಲಾವಿದರ ಕಲಾಕೃತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಚಿತ್ರಕಲಾ ಪೋಷಕರಿಗೂ ಕಲಾವಿದರಿಗೂ ಸೇತುವೆಯಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಚಿತ್ರಕಲಾ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪೂರ್ತಿ ನೀಡುವ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಜಗಲಿಯಿಂದ.....
